Melrose French
In French this week the girls have been learning about La Galette de Roi (The King’s Cake) that some French families eat to celebrate Epiphany on 6th January. Sadly, we couldn’t eat any as they contain almonds.
The youngest girls sat under the table and chose who would get each 'pretend' piece of cake to see who would get the Fève inside, so they could wear la couronne and be the Queen (La Reine).
