The Ladies’ College PE Dept welcomed 60 girls from the Island’s Primary Schools to compete in their “Primary Schools Gymnastics Competition”. Everyone who took part, performed with enthusiasm. The overall winning team prize was shared by Amherst and Melrose. Well done to all involved.
Again the matches were hard fought. Congratulations to all the girls that took part and especially the eventual winners Carey House.

After weeks of practising and training, children in Year 5 and 6 celebrated their day of competitions and enjoyed a fantastic closing ceremony at Footes Lane.

On Saturday 25th March Melrose entered 2 teams in the Canaccord Tag Rugby Festival. Over 40 teams played over 122 games with nearly 500 children joining in the fun. Our teams were the only all girl teams.
