Lower School Music Concert
On the evening of Monday 30th May, many of our Lower School musicians took to the stage to display their talents. We host two of these evenings each year and they are definitely firm favourites in the Music Department calendar.
Students in Remove, Lower Four and Upper Four are invited to perform pieces they have been working on in their peripatetic and music lessons. We were treated to a variety of solos and duets from Lily-Ella, Megan, Ellen, Edith, Aurelia, Heather, Annie, Flossie and Matilda.
A group from Lower Four Red performed their arrangement of ‘Banuwa’ singing and playing djembes, percussion and piano.
Upper Four have been learning about jazz and two groups from X and Z performed their arrangements of ‘In the Mood’ and these included improvisations by Eva, Hannah, Sophie, Matilda, Eleanor and Flossie.
A group from Upper Four also treated us to a student led performance ‘Jammin with Charlie’.
