Mrs Montague - Head of History
BA Hons Southampton, PGCE
A trained tourist guide for the Bailiwick of Guernsey Guild of Accredited Guides (silver), Mrs Montague particularly enjoys art history and favours modern topics. Where possible she seeks to draw parallels between history and current affairs to help students understand the resonance of the past. She has taught at The Ladies' College for more than sixteen years.
Mr McGovern
BA Hons Plymouth University, PGCE, FRGS
Although Geography is his main subject Mr McGoven has a keen interest in History. He studied History at A-Level and has a keen interest in local history. In his spare time, he is a member of the Guernsey Military History Company, a local living history group and is an accredited tour guide (silver) for the Bailiwick of Guernsey Guild of Accredited Guides.
