Lower Sixth student publishes book of poetry

The staff in the English Department are very proud of one of their sixth form students who has recently published her own book of poetry called Animus - which is Latin for mind, heart, spirit.  It is on sale on Amazon and she also has a dedicated Instagram account entitled emilyabreu.poetry which has gained many followers since publishing in September.

"The staff at The Ladies' College have been so supportive of me" said Emily, who is currently studing English, Psychology and Chemistry at A-level' "they were very encouraging of my writing and happy for me to promote it".
