CCTV Policy

The Ladies’ College has CCTV in place throughout its site. Cameras are located on the exterior of the College’s buildings in order to monitor all entrances to the College and most routes through the site. The system became operational at the start of term in January 2020.

The purpose and management of the CCTV system is explored further in our CCTV Policy which can be found below. 
The key objectives, as noted in that policy, are:

• To protect pupils, staff, volunteers, visitors and members of the public with regard to their personal safety.
• To protect the College buildings and equipment, and the personal property of pupils, staff, volunteers, visitors and members of the public.
• To support the police and community in preventing and detecting crime, and assist in the identification and apprehension of offenders.
• To monitor the security and integrity of the College site and deliveries and arrivals.
• To use as a tool to review queries and concerns.

Signs are now placed at the entrances to our site to make clear to visitors that they are entering a monitored area.
