Battle of the School Bands
Congratulations to the group, 'Afterlife', who won The Battle of the School Bands on Saturday 2nd February 2019 at Beau Sejour.
The Ladies’ College band impressed with their set which included Don’t Stop Believin (Journey), Thunderclouds (Sia) and Just Give Me A Reason (Pink). Singing and playing together the girls embraced the importance of teamwork, communication and kindness, voicing special thanks to Thirst Music School for organising the event for island schools.
Well done to Mia: drums, Hattie: bass and vocals, Amelie: guitar and vocals, Tilly: keyboard and vocals and Isabelle: keyboard and vocals.
We are really impressed with the hard work that you put in, your bravery in performing in front of a sell-out audience and we are proud of your fabulous achievement. Congratulations.
