Skipton Swimarathon

On Friday 9th October 2015 the Ladies' College Senior, Junior and Preparatory Departments all took part in the Skipton Swimarathon . The girls were raising money for Cheshire Homes and they enthusiastically tackled the challenge of working together in teams to ensure a continuous stream of swimmers for the whole hour of the sponsored swim. The community spirit was wonderful to see, with girls cheering each other on and thoroughly enjoying the event.

Mrs Beebee did a wonderful job, collecting sponsorship money and she estimates that the College has raised a fabulous £2,639.50.

Well done to all who took part and a big thank you to the Senior School girls who kindly gave up their time to help the little ones at Melrose.
