A Midsummers’ English Celebration
Join us for A Midsummer’s English Celebration, hosted by the English Department on the College lawn. Showcasing a vibrant cross-section of student work from across the year, spanning Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. From poetry and prose to dramatic readings and creative pieces, the event promises to highlight the talent, imagination, and hard work of our students. Guests are invited to enjoy drinks from 5.45pm.

Party on the Green
We invite families—parents, grandparents, and younger siblings—to join us for Party on the Green, an afternoon that celebrates our vibrant school community. The event features entertainment from students across both Melrose and the Senior School. Bring a picnic blanket, relax with strawberries and cream, enjoy a glass of Pimm’s, and soak up the sunshine!

Following the success of last year’s inaugural TEDx event, where 13 of our students took to the stage with inspiring and thought-provoking talks, The Ladies’ College is proud to announce that TEDx will return in March 2026. Building on the momentum and creativity sparked by our first event, next year’s programme promises another powerful showcase of student voices, fresh perspectives, and courageous ideas.
