I am passionate about the girls looking forward to coming to school every day and creating wonderful memories of their days at College, leaving, not only with impressive exam results, but with the dearest of friends, a confidence that takes them through the challenges they will invariably face, and a life long love of learning in their bones. If I can play a part in this, I feel I am worthy of the privilege of being called their teacher.

I studied Sports Science and Geography before going on to do a PGCE in P.E. I joined the Ladies' College in April 2010. I am a keen hockey player and have represented the Island Team. I also enjoys running in my free time and have completed half marathons and marathons. I enjoy teaching and running co-curricular clubs at The Ladies' College and am in charge of the Melrose "Juniors" Physical Education.

I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Education Studies (Early Childhood) with Theology and Religious Studies, along with a CACHE Diploma in Child Care and Education. I particularly enjoy working with preschool-age children, though I’ve had the privilege of supporting children of all ages at Melrose, both in Pre-School and through Wrap Around Care. Beyond my professional experience, I lead one of the Children’s Groups at Holy Trinity Church, sing in the worship band, and I am a member of the Bel Canto Choir.

Junior Remove Teacher
I have spent over 20 years working in schools, championing young people to overcome barriers and let their individuality shine. With a background in maths, sports science, and a specialism in SEND and inclusion, I've been lucky to work alongside brilliant teachers and staff. I love all sports (especially rugby), being outdoors, cycling, reading, and laughing with my family — preferably somewhere windy, muddy, and full of chaos!

Head of Learning Support
Melrose is a wonderful school, and I feel privileged to teach every girl from the Peas Class (Preschool) to Form III (Year 6). I wear three hats: French Teacher, Learning Support Teacher, and Learning Support Assistant. I'm dedicated to creating a vibrant and engaging environment where every student thrives and has fun. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and our wonderful dog, Max.

It is a privilege to support learning and teaching across the College. With a degree in Social Sciences, a post graduate teaching qualification (PGCE Primary), a Microsoft Certified Educator and England Netball Assistant Coach qualifications, I truly believe that we never stop learning. Education is my third and most loved career, with every day with the girls being so different. Outside of College, I have volunteer taught in Ghana and India, love sport, family life and Liverpool Football Club.

I absolutely love my role at Melrose where I work with a great staff team as a Learning Support Assistant, nurturing our lovely girls in Lower Prep and supporting learning throughout the Infant department. I bring two decades of experience working as a primary class teacher to my role so happily cover teach classes throughout the school when needed which allows me to  follow the learning journey of all the girls I’ve previously nurtured in Lower Prep and see how far they’ve progressed! Each day is filled with creativity, curiosity and joy! In my spare time I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors with my family and our puppy Murphy. You may well spot me exploring the island on my bike and having a sea swim come rain or shine!
