Mini College reunion
It was fantastic to catch up with 5 of the 6 Ladies’ College students who are studying at Durham for a mini Ladies’ College reunion at the end of October. Eva, Lottie, Jess, Amy and Bella were great company and it was so interesting to hear about their experiences, interests and studies at Durham and their reflections of being at College and living in Guernsey. Charlotte was at another function, yet we hope that we might catch up when she is back in Guernsey over Christmas.
We enjoy seeing and meeting up with our alumnae at any time and hope that they will continue to stay in touch. Students who left College after their GCSEs or A-levels this summer are invited into College on Monday 17th December, when certificates will be presented before our annual Carol Service at St. Stephen’s.
With reunions in Dubai last October, London in December at The House of Lords and Durham this October, we wonder where the next off-campus meeting will take place? If you have an idea, I am sure that The Ladies’ College Guild would be interested to explore!
