Cup Match report
Congratulations to the girls who travelled to The Jersey College for Girls on Wednesday to take part in the traditional Cup Matches. The swim team won the Lady Caper Trophy by 1 point with a nail biting climax in the relays. The tennis team were treated to a bit of a master class by their JCG counterparts but did manage to steal some games. They put up a brave battle and took many games to deuce. Unfortunately this trophy was lost to a well deserving opposing team.
In the afternoon, the swimmers competed for the Mignot (senior) and Luscombe (junior) swimming trophies against JCG, Beaulieu and The Guernsey Grammar School. Ladies' College were runners up in the Mignot but won the Luscombe by a comfortable margin. A great day was had by all and the Ladies' College girls conducted themselves with great professionalism during a very busy and tiring day.
