Christmas Fair at Melrose
Melrose was buzzing with the sounds and smells of Christmas on Saturday as they held their annual Christmas Fair. The girls and parents had all worked hard creating their stalls, from guess how many sweets in the jar, name the bear to feely boxes of cold spaghetti and jelly!!!
Refreshments in Mrs Claus Café were mouth watering, from gingerbread to Christmas puddings, a pleasant, restful haven from all the bustling in the hall.
As the girls had all been so good, a Special Visitor arrived and gave the girls the opportunity to tell him what was on their Christmas lists!
Mrs Travers and her buskers, kept us entertained with lovely Christmas tunes which ended with Mrs Anthony and all her singing girls helping us all get into the Christmas Spirit.
It was a wonderful Melrose family event and great fun was had by all.
