Baby dragons and big knickers
Girls from the Preparatory Department howled with delight at a recent visit of the Blunderbus professional theatre company which plays to more than 200,000 children every year. The story was "Dotty the Dragon", the tale of a baby fire dragon who lives on a mountain top above a village of dragon fearing folk.
Our girls loved the story of Dotty and interacting with the players and puppets. They laughed when they got sprayed with water, they giggled at blow drying the big knickers (takes a lot of puff) and they howled with delight when they all got covered in flour.
Thank you to Blunderbus for another brilliant visit to Melrose. Our girls really enjoyed and understood the meaning of the story and thrilled at the energetic and passionate performance.
